Teachers’ training at Beer Sheeba School, Ranikhet, Dist- Nainital:
Aadhya Trust conducted a one-day workshop on 8th April, 2022 on Personality development. Mrs. Monica Drego used Transactional Analysis as a tool for teachers to understand their mind set. How to communicate effectively after understanding their ‘Life-positions’ and understand their Emotional quotient.
Teachers’ Training at Aarohi Bal Sansar, Satoli, Dist- Nainital:
Aadhya Trust conducted two-day workshop on 22nd and 23rd of April, 2022 with the teachers of Aarohi Bal Sansar, Satoli, Dist- Nainital. The workshop conducted by Ms. Monica Drego helped the teachers to understand their Emotional quotient, and how to relate to students and parents in a positive and effective manner. The teachers also participated in the psychometric testing to understand their mind set and how to think and live positively.
The second day of the workshop was academic in nature and teachers understood the meaning of ‘Concept based Teaching’ and prepared their planners based on that. Yearly plans and teaching aids were discussed and planned based on the concepts chosen by them for their respective subjects.
Women empowerment programme at Ranikhet and Almora:
From 3rd April to 9th April, 2022 and from 10th April, 2022 to 29th April, 2022, Women Empowerment programme was conducted for the women of Naini Satoli and Simai villages of Ranikhet and Almora respectively. The women were taught to make creative items through crochet using wool and thread. The idea is to help them make items which can be then sold in the market so that they can earn and be self-sufficient.
Beauticians’s Course for women of Peora and Simayal villages:
Aadhya conducted a level 1 and 2 Beauty course for the women of Peora and Simayal villages. The idea is to give them a vocation so that they can feel self-sufficient. This will not only help them financially but also give them a lot of self-confidence. Mrs. Savita Oberoi conducted the workshop as she is a registered and qualified beautician herself. Certificates were also distributed after the completion of the course.
